Our school is a private project offering an alternative to mainstream primary education. We have met the conditions for entry in the Ministry of Education register of schools, and thanks to that our running costs are partly funded by the state. The state contribution is lower than the one public schools receive, however, so the remaining running costs are covered by the fees you, the parents, pay.

Our aim is to keep the fee as low as possible, so that the education we offer is widely affordable. For the 2026/2027 school year the fee is CZK 41,000. We collect it over 10 months (September to June), so the monthly fee is CZK 4,100 per child. We also offer a sibling discount – the fee for a third and fourth child is CZK 3,400 per child per month. The annual fee for pupils in individual education is CZK 5,200.

Our school could come into being thanks to substantial support from parents and founding families, financial and otherwise. We greatly value its community, family character, which is an important part of school life for us. Parents also help look after the school building and its surroundings as needed, and so help create an environment that is genuinely shared. We also love to meet and celebrate – at our regular Advent and summer school festivals, where the Labyrint community comes together, connects and creates side by side.

Every year we support several children whose families find themselves in a more difficult situation, through a means-tested fee. It is always a matter of an individual application from the family and a decision by the school. The funds for this support come from the school budget and, more recently, from a gift by parents who wanted to express their satisfaction and help pay for another child’s education. We value that support enormously and see it as a beautiful expression of trust, solidarity and the genuinely communal character of our school.
