School Board
The School Board is an important part of our school community. It gives parents, teachers and the school’s founding body the opportunity to take part in the governance and development of the school.
What does the School Board do?
The School Board:
- discusses and approves key school documents, such as the School Rules and the Annual Report,
- discusses reports and findings of the Czech School Inspectorate, as well as suggestions, notifications and complaints,
- comments on important school documents and plans,
- supports communication between the school, parents and the founding body.
Who is on the School Board?
The School Board has three members representing the school’s founding body, the teaching staff and parents.
Current members:
- Kryštof Zeman – representative of the founding body and Chair of the School Board
- Magda Duchečková – representative of the teaching staff
- David Padrta – parent representative
How can you contact the School Board?
Parents and other members of the school community can contact the School Board with suggestions, concerns, notifications or complaints related to the work of the school and within the Board’s area of responsibility.
You can contact the School Board:
- by email: krystoff@seznam.cz
- in writing: by sending a letter to the school address marked “School Board”
- in person: by prior arrangement with the Chair of the School Board
When submitting a suggestion or concern, please include:
- a brief description of the situation,
- a possible solution, if you would like to suggest one,
- your contact details if you would like to receive a response.
Anonymous submissions may also be considered if they contain enough specific information to allow the matter to be reviewed.
The School Board discusses submissions at its meetings. Where contact details are provided, the sender may be informed about how the matter has been addressed.
