What the project is about: gaining experience and inspiration abroad in Montessori education, specifically in the Erdkinder adolescent programme (Children of the Earth), at schools that have been running it for some time. The first aim is to give our teachers experience of working with adolescents. The second is to show our pupils how the same programme is taught abroad. The third is to improve the language skills of pupils and of the school’s teaching and non-teaching staff. The project takes the form of group trips by pupils with accompanying adults and individual trips abroad by adults.
